Here is my first pair of custom Air Max 90’s. You can see from the before and after that I replaced all the mesh with leather, dyed the stripes in the mud guard, and cut new swooshes and painted them orange. After all that they were hand sewn back together (which is a very long process) resulting in fine piece of craftsmanship. By the way I believe that shoes are meant to be worn, not left in a box in the closet. So check back when I get around to finishing my next pair.

The Portland Adult Soap Box Derby

September 9th, 2006

If you are in Portland at the end of the summer you need to stop by Mt. Tabor and check out this event. The ingenuity, creativity, and over all madness is quite the spectacle. For last years entry Brian Creany and myself designed a car that transformed from vertical to horizontal while appearing to be invisible until he was suspended in the vehicle. Well after 2 weeks of hard labor we finished the car and space suits while walking away with the title of Best Engineering. If you would like to check out more photos of The Argonaut check out the following links.
